About
Barbara Benn, LCPC
Barbara “Barb” Benn is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 18 years of experience supporting teens, adults, seniors, individuals, couples, and groups across diverse care settings. She has extensive experience helping clients navigate a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, schizophrenia, adjustment disorders, self-esteem challenges, and relationship issues.
Barbara takes a holistic, person-centered approach, recognizing that each individual’s experience is unique. She strives to meet clients where they are, offering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered to share their story.
Clients often find Barbara warm, approachable, and collaborative. She works alongside her clients to identify meaningful goals and build practical strategies for managing life’s challenges. As therapy progresses, she integrates evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and elements of DBT, tailoring interventions to each individual’s needs and pace.
