Solange Adams, PMHNP

Solange Adams, PMHNP, is a compassionate and evidence-based psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than a decade of experience in nursing. She began her healthcare career in surgery and home health before advancing as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in pain management. During this time, she recognized the deep link between physical and mental health—an insight that inspired her to pursue post-master’s psychiatric training at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Her practice is rooted in a holistic philosophy that addresses the full spectrum of a patient’s needs—mind, body, and lifestyle. Solange ensures her clients have the time and space to express their concerns and works collaboratively to build treatment plans that are personalized, thorough, and compassionate. Her approach combines the structure of evidence-based medicine with a heart-led connection that values the patient’s voice and lived experience.

Outside of her professional work, Solange finds balance in gardening, reading fantasy novels, and spending time with her husband and dog. As the daughter of immigrants, she holds a deep appreciation for resilience, opportunity, and family—values that shape her work and her empathy for each patient she serves.
