Michelle Conteh is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in medication management and mental health care across the lifespan. Utilizing her nursing background, Michelle has developed an empathetic approach to caring for a diverse population of patients. Michelle pursued her undergraduate studies at Austin Peay State University, earning her Bachelor of Nursing degree. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a focus on psychiatric mental health from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she graduated with honors.

Michelle’s focus is fostering a patient-centered, therapeutic relationship while implementing an evidence-based approach to mental health wellness. Her role as a psych NP involves conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and providing psychotherapy.

Michelle is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), the American Nurses Association (ANA), and her state nurses’ association.
