I am an adult psychiatrist and Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. My qualifications include a medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and a four-year residency in adult psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital in Queens New York. My medical education and training has given me a broad experience on mental health care in one of the most diverse counties in the U.S.

I have worked as an outpatient adult psychiatrist at Zucker Hillside Hospital and served as an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University. In these roles, I focused on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating adults with various mental health symptoms and conditions. My academic responsibilities included educating third-year medical students during their core psychiatry rotations and participating in the psychiatry residency selection committee.

My approach to psychiatry is holistic and evidence-based, aiming to improve overall wellbeing. I prioritize comprehensive evaluations, empathy, and a collaborative approach with my patients. In my practice, I integrate medication management with psychotherapy, including supportive, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal therapy, to provide well-rounded mental health care.
