Dr. Michelle Conteh is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides grounded, compassionate care for individuals navigating real-life mental health challenges. She specializes in medication management and holistic psychiatric care across the lifespan, offering an empathetic, evidence-based approach that centers on each patient’s unique story and goals.
Dr. Conteh began her nursing journey at Austin Peay State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She later completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a focus in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, graduating with honors. Her diverse experience caring for individuals from all backgrounds informs her understanding of mental health through a culturally sensitive and inclusive lens.
She fosters a patient-centered therapeutic relationship, integrating comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing medication management. Her goal is to empower patients to achieve balance, healing, and resilience through collaborative care.
