About
Dr.
Madeleine Carlson Widolff
Madeleine Carlson-Widolff, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that therapy begins with meeting you exactly where you are—because every step matters. Whether that means “sitting in the hard moments” or starting the process of change, her approach is deeply collaborative and compassionate. She works alongside clients as a partner, not a lecturer, offering understanding and practical support for each unique journey.
Madeleine earned her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University in 2016 and holds clinical licenses in both Illinois and Texas. Her professional background spans mental health case management, hospice care, intensive outpatient programs, and psychiatric intake and review. This diverse experience has shaped her holistic, person-centered approach that prioritizes empathy, respect, and actionable growth.
She helps adults and teens navigate life transitions, anxiety, burnout, grief, and moments of feeling stuck. Drawing from CBT, DBT, and strength-based methods, Madeleine provides a safe and supportive space to process emotions while equipping clients with practical tools for progress between sessions. Her goal is to foster resilience and confidence, empowering each person to move forward with clarity and balance.
